Such a beautiful place. Location is so gorgeous in the middle of the jungle, so peaceful. The service was A+ from the moment we stepped in and were greeted with a fresh towel and drink while our luggage was quickly taken to our rooms. We stayed in a Deluxe Pool Villa (their base villa) and we were more than happy with it. The villa's are absolutely stunning and the private pools are so refreshing. Due to the secludedness of the hotel (you really cant walk anywhere outside of the hotel), we ordered room service in both nights we stayed there and food was delicious. So was the buffet breakfast served every morning. We stayed here 2 nights, but now we wished we stayed for longer.

“Phuket for the nature-conscious”
The typical Phuket tourists go for the beach, not the jungle. This is what makes Villa Zolitude stand out from the mass of resorts on the island but is not its only asset. We just spent 2 days there and wished we had planned to stay longer. The location is amazing, in the middle of a jungle but a few minutes away from Phuket town and the beach. Once you're in the resort, you feel disconnected from the outside world and just want to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature around you. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The amenities are very good and meet the standard of most 5-star hotels, yet without being pretentious. The in-room dining service and the resorts only restaurant are excellent. There is a good choice on the menu and the food quality is very good. The portions are just right; neither small nor too big but very reasonably priced - unlike many other resorts we've been to. We had all our meals there and didn't end up paying a fortune. A few things could be improved and are no major nuisance, such as the pest control, the loud A/C units and the winter duvets, which make it impossible to sleep without pumping up the A/C to freezing temperatures! The resort offers a free service to the Festival Center shopping mall on the outskirts of Phuket town and to the Nai Harn beach twice daily, which is quite useful if you wish to see something outside the resort. Shuttle frequency could be better but then again, it's a free service. The hotel has a small fleet of cars which can take you almost anywhere for a little more than the average taxi fare. Commuting from and to the resort is not very practical because of the location and cost, so if you're planning to stay there and make it your base to explore Phuket, you'd better consider a more accessible location.
Room Tip: For more 'jungle feel', request a lower villa. For proximity to the restaurant and reception area or a nicer view, request a higher situated villa
“This is a very special place”
I thoroughly recommend this venue for a vacation. You can really escape from it all at this tranquil location. The staff are great and everything is so clean and well maintained. We stayed in a grand pool villa which sported our own infinity pool and 180 degree views.
The restaurant is really good. I didn't venture far from the Thai section of the menu - but I can say the Thai cuisine was scrumptious . The breakfast buffet is very international tailoring for a diverse number of ethnic backgrounds.
The spa was a real treat. The staff are sweet, courteous and fantastic at what they do. We spoiled ourselves a couple of times at the spa and recommend the revitalising massage and ancient Thai massage.
The hotel's location is a bit away from it so I recommend it to anyone that wants to relax and get away from it all.
We will be back!!!
“A Sanctuary in Chalong”
The Villa Zolitude is located on slopes of the hills facing Chalong Bay and away from the built up areas. With plenty of greenery surrounding this exclusive resort, it is indeed a peaceful haven much loved by urban dwellers like me.
Upon arrival, we were whisked to the reception area away from the entrance on a shuttle tuk tuk and welcomed with a chilled drink and towel. Service was top grade from checking in to getting to our room, a Grand Pool Villa.
The Grand Pool Villa was huge, two stories with a small private pool to dip in. Downstairs is a outdoor lounge area with bar and there is also an indoor daybed area where you could enjoy your favourite television programmes between taking a swim at the private pool.
The bedroom was very comfortable and beautifully designed. The toiletries are particularly fragrant and uses natural extracts. The complimentary mini bar offers a variety of teas from earl grey to green tea and even offers tom yum cup noodles! If you are worried about mosquitoes, fear not, they resort even provides a insect repellant spray and a electronic plug -in insect repellant.
The resort's strongest point is its secludedness and hence its weakest as well as you have to prepare to pay abit if you plan to travel out oftenly, making the resort an unlikely base for exploring Phuket if you are on a budget. However, the resort do offer complimentary shuttles to Central Phuket Shopping Mall and Nai Harn Beach but the timings would greatly limit your itinerary.
There isn't much to do in the resort besides, sun tanning and swimming or eating which is a pity given the great setting that it has.
We had dinner and breakfast at the 360 Degrees Restaurant located within the resort. The dinner is decent and the Coconut Ice Cream is a must try!
The breakfast buffet has quite a fair bit of variety from the usual salads and breads to pancakes, sushi and waffles! We love that there is a live egg station.
The rates are rather steep during the peak period but in-room dining or spa services seemed to be slightly cheaper than certain resorts or hotels of the same grade while I was doing research on where to stay.
Service is more than commendable, they offered us a late check out upon request and had been very responsive before our stay when we enquired about the in-room menus and services available even though we booked through a 3rd party tour agency instead of directly with Villa Zolitude.
Overall, I recommend staying at the Villa Zolitude if you are looking for somewhere to chill out and relax at the end of a trip around Phuket for 1 or 2 nights. You can even have your own BBQ in your villa by getting your own ingredients or engaging the resort's supplier.
Room Tip: Go for the Grand Pool Villa if possible.
“Lovely, lovely - cannot recommend it highly enough”
We stayed here for five nights in March and it has stuck in our minds as the loveliest place for a honeymoon. The staff are wonderful and the villas truly luxurious with your own private infinity pool, day room and beautiful views over Chalong Bay.
If you are wanting somewhere peaceful and private this is the place to stay. It is not close to shops or the beach but we found that hiring a scooter or getting a taxi easily accessible and we came and went as we pleased, happy to come home each evening to our own space of paradise.
True bliss :)

“Excellent experience staying at Villa Zollitude”
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Villa Zollitude. We once again booked our accommodation through the internet and we received all that was shown. The villa was excellent and very private. We went for a total relax not wanting to do very much sightseeing and that we were able to enjoy. The location is very isolated so if you were wanting party time not a place for you. But if you want to relax and be pampered this is where to go. Staff and the overall premises were excellent nothing was too hard to do for you. Would and have since returning home as our stay was from 27th Sept to 30th Sept recommend this hotel to all I can.

“Stunning & relaxing”
My husband and I are here right now - the 4th day of our honeymoon and heading off to phi phi tomorrow which has a lot to live up to!
We booked a 'limo' transfer at airport for 650B nice car although driver had a bit of trouble finding the place.
The resort is beautiful, immaculately maintained and the staff are lovely. We booked direct and got a good rate Inc brekky for a pool villa. Ours is down the hill surrounded by forest - totally private. The villas are massive and the bed comfy, pool nice and awesome bathroom with spa bath. Room service is the usual menu at the same price which is nice. Brekky in the restaurant is excellent, best western breakfast I've had in Asia. Prices are a lot higher than town ones but still for a resort they are not bad - lot cheaper than oz!
We did the cooking class which was fun - with the head chef. Pricey but got to eat 3 course meal and keep recipes and apron - also I couldn't eat my curry course so they kept it in the kitchen and delivered it for dinner that night!
Free shuttles to beach and shopping mall, only did mall one which was a bit disappointing, western prices!
About to have a massage and also have booked a driver for this arvo to see big Buddha and wat which are nearby, so can't comment on them yet.
Few cons/possible improvements:
Pools could be heated
Drinks menu in room
Proper concierge to recommend outings and places to go for dinner (girls are super nice but English limited and didn't have any recommendations when we asked)
A separate bar
Shuttle to chalong and Phuket town
Generally it would be good to have more help to leave the resort which sounds strange I know but I felt a little trapped here - especially when it poured for first 24 hours! It's very isolated which is lovely and relaxing but my partner has never been to Thailand so it would have been nice to stroll out the resort to a village with markets and bars and alternative restaurants - we've eaten every meal here!
However, overall I love this place and would absolutely recommend it, but perhaps just for a few nights of your holiday after you've done the shopping & partying part!
Thanks to villa zolitude for an awesome start to our honeymoon, you're all lovely!!

“Best hotel "room" I have ever stayed in!”
I picked this hotel purely based on pics and tripadvisor reviews.
I knew the location was out of the way and knew that we would be staying at the resort our whole stay so that wasn't a problem.
That being said, the Grand Pool Villa was the absolutely best hotel room my wife and I have ever stayed in. Even without the downstairs daybed area and pool and pool deck, it would have been a fantastic room. The huge, comfortable bed with floor to ceiling windows all around and the high ceilings made this room feel so special. We were in unit 407, on top of the hill, so we could look down the mountain and see the bay in the distance. Just a fabulous view to wake up with.
Of course, with the downstairs room and a larger than expected private pool, this was a perfect place for a couple to spend a few days together. We didn't even mind that it rained most of the time we were here.
Some notes...yes, it is super steep and we didnt walk up or down to the restaurant once. We called reception and they sent the cart quickly. We almost walked one morning and said, eh, we are on holiday, why bother?
The restaurant was great and very affordable, especially by resort standards. Room service was great too and yes, you can order drinks even though they don't mention it on the menu. The staff was terrific. We felt welcomed and special by the first person who greeted us, Kung, at the front desk. I can speak a little Thai and her face lit up when I did. She had a great smile and excitedly gave us a tour of our villa. Whenever we asked for anything, they were able to provide assistance immediately.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone and are extremely happy we chose to stay there.

“Great hotel, highly recommended!!”
We stayed in a Grand Pool Villa (top of the hill) at the beginning of September 2011 for 4 days.
Located in a very quiet and peaceful environment, Villa Zolitude is very special. You can enjoy your own privacy in the different villas that are quite far away from each other (awesome if you don’t have neighbors!) and the villa was huge!! Best hotel room EVER!!! Nearly too big for two people, but really enjoyable with your own private swimming pool. We loved the view from our villa (ask for the one on the top of the hill – number 4XX – that really have nicer views), as well as the outdoor shower and the very nice lighting at night of the Villa.
The hotel restaurant offers good quality food, not too expensive, and you really have a lot of choices between Asian or Western food for the breakfast and other meals (perfect for us as we are a French-Singaporean couple).
The only negative point is that the hotel is really isolated in the middle of nowhere, and you need to take the hotel free shuttle or a cab (expensive, around 600THB to Patong for instance) to visit the touristic places of Phuket that are far from the hotel (at least 20min drive). It was not a problem for us as we were really looking for relaxation in a zen environment, but it can be problematic if you are looking for being where everything happens in Phuket!
The most amazing thing about Villa Zolitude that will definitely make us come back in this great place is the hotel’s lovely staff. All the staff is soooooooo friendly, always smiling and available!! Awesome staff, really excellent in customer care and service. We never had such a high quality service in all the hotels we went before.
A very special mention goes for Kung, working at the reception, that makes our stay the so special and fantastic experience it was. We couldn’t have asked for anything more! She was so nice, not only giving us the information we were looking for, but also providing awesome suggestions of places to visit and things to do. For instance, on the last day, we wanted to go back to Nai Harn Beach (amazing beach where you really have to go, the shuttle is free from the hotel!) but she suggested us to go to a local Thai market. It was such a great advice, as we really enjoyed the market (awesome local food there!) and as it started to rain in the afternoon. More than that, Kung really took care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay, and we greatly appreciated her service. So nice and friendly, she really made our experience special at Villa Zolitude! We wish all guests can meet her, as she is really an awesome receptionist. She even said thanks in French to us when we were leaving for the airport. Small detail, but it was really cute and nice from her.
We also really appreciated that the hotel prepared another Villa near the reception just for us to have a quick shower before the airport transfert at night when we already did the checkout at 3pm. Great service!
Unfortunately, we ended on a bad experience with the hotel for the airport transfert, as the driver really bugged us for tip in a really rude way, and slammed the door of his car so badly as we couldn’t give him anything (we completely had no THB anymore as it was the end of our stay, not even enough money to buy a drink at the airport!). Damn rude! Unbelievable! And we were so upset after this at the airport, not only because the driver was very rude, but also because we really love Villa Zolitude that is really a perfect place to stay and this guy just completely spoilt the image of excellence service that the hotel has.
Except from this negative point, Villa Zolitude was really awesome and we highly recommended the place. We will go back there without any hesitation, as the service is excellent and the hotel so special!!
“Really Really Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!”
My wife and I have booked a 5 days deluxe villa. The environment is perfect with lots of trees and streamcourse surrounding you. The landscape is perfect with the appropiate lightings.
Privacy is handled so well through the design. The private pool is good enough and the public infinity pool has good view and ambient.
All the staff is super friendly with smile on their face all the time. The front desk is very helpful. They have help me to find some good place to dine out with good price and good taste.
The restaurant inside the hotel is also excellent with their food. I almost have all my lunch there too. I have join their cooking class and the staff and chef that teach us are very patient and wonderful. We have learn to cook tong yum gong hohohoho.
Zense Spa is also excellent there as the view is 100% natural with the sounds of birds and other insects.
Although somebody may think the hotel is a little bit far from patong beach. It is not a problem as the front desk can easily help u to find taxi and just a 30- 40mins drive will do.As we are having vacation, time is surely not a problem as we got many time and no need to hurry right? ;>
Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful experience and memories and I SURE WILL COME AGAIN with my friends as well.
All the best
Kammy and Henry
“Fantastic Weekend”
This hotel is absolutely fantastic, a real gem. The hotel is based in the hills and not at the beach, but is a bastion of relaxation. The room with private pool is amazing with sprawling views and has everything you can think of cater for your stay.
The food at the restaurant is very good and the hotel also has nice touches like having a bbq in your own villa.
The only word of warning is that you can't really walk anywhere from the villa so you are cut off unless you take a car/taxi, but if you are looking for pampering, isolation and relaxation this is the place

“Very nice place and had a great stay”
Booked a grand villa for seven nights.
Pros,
Very friendly staff, large room with a nice clean pool, for the money you can't do better.
Bed in the room was very nice and the TV small but lots of English channels.
Food in the restaurant is terrific and breakfast is REALLY good.
The beach they bring you to is AWESOME!
Cons,
View only from the room, not really the pool and could be a bit more private. Needs furniture on the second floor landing, seems empty and would be a great place to sit.
Turndown may be when they are ready like at 5pm? Not while your out at dinner...
Your looking at a cab ride if you want to venture out, we had a scooter and made good use of it.
All in all we really liked it here and would return.
Room Tip: I would say the higher the better...
